(1) Assessing Speech and Language Skills in children with Selective Mutism: Collaboration with Dr. Evelyn Klein and LaSalle University 

(2) Analysis of the Selective Mutism Comprehensive Diagnostic Questionnaire (SMCDQ)   SM-CDQ
The comprehensive diagnostic inventory  developed by Dr. Elisa Shipon-Blum  at the Smart Center  that is used in assessing children/teens with Selective Mutism.  We currently have 1500+ completed SMCDQ’s from past patients and previously diagnosed children/teens.  We are in the process of coding and analyzing based on statistical correlations and clinical theories.  

(3) Analyzing Dr. Shipon-Blum’s treatment (Social Communication Anxiety Treatment –SCAT) in children/teens diagnosed with SM using the Social Communication Anxiety Inventory (SCAI) the SM School Evaluation Form (c) ;  the SM Follow-Up Form (c) and the Child/teen Follow Up Form (c)

(4) Observational video analysis (designed by Dr. Marcus Crenshaw) of family and children/teens involved in treatment at the Smart Center.  Dual purpose of video to be used for educational and training purposes.
